iWrite Creates T-Shirts to Inspire Kids to Write

We created shirts with Bonfire to raise awareness about our nonprofit’s mission—specifically with a younger audience. The proceeds from our campaign covered printing expenses for our “i” The Guy (our cartoon mascot) writing program.

The iWRITE Literacy Organization is a Houston based non-profit committed to inspiring kids to write their own stories while providing professional publishing and leadership opportunities.

Between huge budget cuts and extreme pressure from standardized testing, the classroom has become a place of stress. So it’s our organization’s goal to establish a writing program creates a positive association to learning while guiding students through the writing process.

With the help of our fundraising campaign on Bonfire, we’ve been able to continue our efforts of bringing in our writing journal program to economically disadvantaged communities in the Houston area.
