Saving Sight is a nonprofit eye bank that facilitates eye tissue donation and transplantation. Last year, 2,559 heroes gave the gift of sight through eye donation with Saving Sight. Saving Sight created their shirt campaigns with Bonfire to sell three shirt designs that highlight their mission. The proceeds from the sale of these shirts will be used to purchase roses in memory of their eye donors on this year’s Donate Life Rose Parade Float.
Each year, Donate Life’s Rose Parade float features riders representing transplant recipients; living donor walkers; and dozens of memorial “floragraph” portraits of deceased organ, eye, and tissue donors. The deck of the float is also covered with thousands of dedicated roses with vials carrying messages of love, hope, and remembrance.
