Sea & Ivy, a digital design brand, was created by Morgan Dufault. Once she decided to become a stay at home mom, Morgan knew she was going to need to find something just for her. She needed something that had nothing to do with her role as a wife or mom, nothing to do with her responsibilities – but rather, a place for her to decompress, process, and use as an outlet.
Morgan had a natural interest in hand lettering, so she decided this was the perfect opportunity to try making hand lettering a bigger thing in her life! She doodled often, which felt therapeutic to her, and her friends and family loved her creations. They started asking if they could pay her to create things for them, and that’s when she made a jump and opened an Etsy Shop. In 2019, Sea & Ivy was born!
She created tons of custom prints and decided to do one of her own home state. This print of Minnesota became a top seller, and that’s when she decided to put her prints on apparel!
In the eight months of business, things took off way more than she anticipated. Sea & Ivy has sold over 70 t-shirts, created custom pieces, and even met with local businesses to sell her products in their shop.
