On July 1st, 2019, Debbie Perry and her family’s life was shaken when she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. When her friends and family heard the news, they reached out to see how they could support Debbie and her family in the midst of her battle.
Friends created a Bonfire t-shirt fundraiser to raise money for Debbie and her family. The shirt has helped beyond raising money and awareness though. It’s had the added effect of becoming a reminder to Debbie that she has a community of friends supporting and caring for her on her journey. People wear them when they visit her, and when they participate in cancer fundraisers.
