Raquel and her husband TJ have been married for 5 years now. They knew from the start of their relationship that they were going to have a beautiful life together! They were confident in the support from their loving extended family, some incredible friendships, their furry friend Bear, and the intense strength derived from their faith.
The idea of growing their family had always been a thought that made them anxious, yet excited. Why all the anxiety? Raquel and TJ have known for several years that having biological children just isn’t in the cards for them. When Raquel was just 20 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition which resulted in a malignant tumor removal as well as an emergency hysterectomy. She woke up one morning to the doctor telling her, “We had to take everything. Children won’t be possible.”
Knowing their “situation” from the beginning of the relationship, TJ and Raquel have come to whole-heartedly believe that adoption is God’s plan to grow their family.
Through lots of prayer and, of course, financial help, Raquel and TJ hope to bring home Baby C. sometime in the near future! These t-shirts will help continue to fundraise for this incredible journey.
